The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) is requesting sealed bids for the sale of surplus vehicles and equipment. A bid package, including a complete list of the vehicles and equipment for sale can be found here.
The vehicles and equipment will be sold on an ‘As Is – Where Is’ basis and without warranty.
Signed and sealed bids must be received at the WRTA Administration Offices no later than 12:00 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2023 and must be submitted on bid forms supplied by the WRTA. ALL BIDS MUST BE IN SEALED ENVELOPES CLEARLY MARKED ‘BID FOR SURPLUS EQUIPMENT.’ The WRTA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities, as it deems in its best interest.
Winning bidders will be notified by email and will be required to submit a certified bank check in the amount of the bid. Winning bidder(s) will have until Friday, September 15, 2023 to make payment and remove the vehicles from WRTA property.
