Worcester, MA — The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) is pleased to announce its award of Security Guard Services at the WRTA Hub to Jet Security, LLC. Jet Security is a private, veteran owned security force based in Massachusetts. They will oversee the safety and security of the day-to-day activity on the WRTA Hub property at 60 Foster Street, Worcester. The WRTA is confident that Jet Security’s philosophy of providing high levels of security and customer service through relationship building, makes them an ideal partner for these services. Jet Security’s staff are adequately trained according to industry best practices, and motivated to carry out their duties with integrity and professionalism. They are committed to working with WRTA and Worcester Police Department to ensure the safety and security of riders, drivers and staff. Jet Security will begin providing services immediately and will operate concurrently with WRTA’s business hours, weekdays: 4:30AM to 11:59 PM, Saturdays: 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM and Sundays: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) is a regional transit system that services the City of Worcester and the surrounding 36 communities in the Central Massachusetts area with a bus fleet that includes diesel-electric hybrid buses, and clean-diesel buses. The second largest regional transit authority in Massachusetts, the WRTA offers reliable, comfortable, and safe transportation for traveling to work, shopping, school, medical appointments, and leisure activities.
