Worcester Regional Transit Authority Advisory Board Rider Community Population Representative

The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) Advisory Board includes a position for a Rider Community Population Representative* (Rider’s Rep.) designated for a resident of one of the sixteen communities served by Fixed-Route.

Representative Information:

• This is a volunteer one-year term position.
• This is a voting position.
• Attendance at monthly Board Meetings is expected. The Advisory Board currently meets on the third Thursday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in a hybrid format.

The Rider’s Rep. is selected through the appointment process of the town/city in which they reside. The position is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The date of the response will determine which appointee fills the vacancy. All other applicants will be placed in a queue for consideration and selected in the order of which their application was received. Please note that the Rider’s Rep. position cannot be filled by the same town/city that currently has the “Disabled Commuter Population” position.
