Comprehensive Service Analysis

A Comprehensive Service Analysis (CSA) is now underway, led by WRTA with support from MassDOT. This initiative will assess the current fixed-route transit system, gather input from the community, and help shape a long-term vision for improved service.

Key Objectives of the CSA

The CSA will focus on:

  • Reviewing existing service conditions
  • Conducting extensive public outreach
  • Exploring potential service enhancements, including:
    • Simplified routes
    • Extended operating hours
    • Increased service frequency
    • Introduction of new route types

Project Timeline

The Comprehensive Service Analysis is expected to be completed by Summer 2026.

Community members are encouraged to share this information and participate in the process.
