WORCESTER, MA. Tuesday, October 10th, 2006 — Mr. Richard J. Glavin has been named interim administrator of the Worcester Regional Transit Authority. The position was previously held by Mary MacInnes since 2000 who recently left to be administrator at the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority.

The search for a permanent administrator will begin after the Advisory Board discusses at the next meeting, October 19, how to proceed with the search.

Mr. Glavin has worked for the WRTA for approximately 10 years and most recently held the title of Director of Public Affairs and Governmental Relations and it is expected that Mr. Glavin will become a candidate for the permanent position.
